Gunthorpe Church

Peter and David seen at the base of the Church, pausing during extensive internal and external repointing works.  Also shown are the new louvres from our Joinery Shop.  There is the Belfry floor and Tower staircase works to complete.

Necton Church

Contracts Manager, Rex Middleton, hosted a visit of members of SPAB (Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings) to Necton Church on Saturday, 7th August 2010.

Rex, Ruth Blackman (Architect from Birdsall, Swash and Blackman) and Ian Harper (English Heritage) all spoke about the contract and conducted a tour to see the repair works to the Tower and Cupola.

The picture shows the group before the long ascent (approximately 100ft).  When out in your car look out for the enormous scaffold on the left-hand side approximately 4 miles east of Swaffham on the A47.

Unusual Contract

Following damage by a utility we are reinstating the bungalow for an insurance company.  We are undertaking underpinning, piling and internal rebuilding while the shell remains in place.
